About the Director

Adrian Pruett is an American cinematographer, director, and television producer whose work spans documentaries, independent films, commercials, and network television. He has served as Director and Director of Photography for NBC, HBO, Amazon, FOX, Disney, and Facebook, shooting over 1,200 episodes of cable and network television while helping create and develop over $1 billion in productions.

A Journey of Purpose

Adrian's unconventional path to Hollywood began at 16, when he chose filmmaking over his family's medical tradition. After graduating from UNLV film school with no industry connections, he packed his car for Los Angeles with nothing but determination and a vision.

When 9/11 struck shortly after graduation, job prospects for newcomers evaporated. Adrian took work at a theme park before landing his breakthrough role on MTV's "Real World"—one of television's first reality shows. From there, he climbed the industry ladder show by show, eventually directing Emmy-winning productions for Meta and Disney while earning membership in the Directors Guild of America, IATSE 600, Producers Guild of America, and Society of Camera Operators.

The Turning Point

Success brought an unexpected revelation. The industry Adrian had conquered was shrinking—dramatically fewer jobs with increasingly constrained budgets. This crisis prompted deep research into monetary systems and economics, leading him to Bitcoin and blockchain technologies he believes offer transformative potential for humanity's future.

Current Mission

Adrian has since directed creative campaigns for Bitcoin-focused companies including True North, The Bitcoin Unconference, Tim Kotzman, and various Bitcoin Treasury firms. Through ONEBIGPARTY Productions, he now combines decades of proven storytelling expertise with deep understanding of emerging technologies, creating content that educates and inspires audiences about the innovations reshaping our world.

His track record demonstrates both creative excellence and business acumen—qualities essential for delivering impactful content that serves both artistic and educational missions while maintaining fiscal responsibility to donors and sponsors.
